Past & Present Shoppes is a unique collaboration 19 "cottage" businesses, each operating independently, but with a common passion and purpose, that blends together seamlessly to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

Open seven days a week, the shop, located at 22 East State Street in North Aurora, offers a large variety of items for the home and garden, including wrought iron and ceramic decor, re-painted furniture, collectibles, vintage linens, clothing and jewelry. A large percentage of the merchandise is either custom made from "scratch" or re-purposed from existing items, truly representing both the "past & the present".

A wide mix of decor styles are represented, including Shabby Chic/Cottage, Paris Apartment, Mid-Century Modern, Victorian, Contemporary, Primitive, Transitional, and Boho Chic.

Started by a small group of women entrepreneurs, the shop is a proud of their commitment to service and to providing "retail therapy" to their customers. Many of the customers have noted that just walking up and down the aisles of the shop lift their spirits just when they need it most. And the below retail pricing enables them to treat themselves often or to buy that extra special gift for a loved one in their life.
